The Solar Epiphany Story ~
In 2005 Solar Epiphany's founder, Eric Thomas, had a profound moment, an epiphany if you will: That humanity's unsustainable energy production and consumption was largely designed and built in his grandfather's lifetime. To Eric, this meant the possibility of building a new sustainable energy infrastructure in his lifetime. Because he believed in solar power as the safest, most abundant and lowest cost source of energy the world could ever know, he founded Solar Epiphany to further the adoption of solar energy in his home town of Seattle, Washington.
To this day, our guiding light remains: A Clean, Energy-Stable Future is Possible in our Lifetime. Lets build this sustainable energy movement together. Solar Epiphany is here to explain which solar options can work for you, and why there has never been a better time for you to go solar than right now.
Solar Epiphany Can Guide You Through The Three Steps To Going Solar:
Step 1: Learn
The first step in going solar is to get educated about the technology, the incentives, and the options that are best for your particular application. There are many resources at your disposal including our solar education page, local Solarize workshops, and installers. Knowledge is (solar) power!
Step 2: Choose
Solar energy systems are not one size fits all. In the end, your system should accomplish your goals such as: take full advantage of your available solar resource, reduce your electric usage, align with your budget, and fit in with your home's aesthetics.
Step 3: Install
Experienced solar installers use only proven installation techniques and high quality materials. We are happy to provide local installer recommendations to ensure you receive the best system available.
