The intricacies of solar are not commonly understood by traditional engineers and architects. From shading issues, to voltage drop, to energy management and reporting, there are many solar-specific angles to a successful PV project. This project was a great opportunity for Solar Epiphany to apply our solar expertise to refine and optimize the proposed design. The result was this well-built solar array that will produce clean power for the Port of Olympia for many decades to come. With no exposed wiring, 100% intact roof warranty, and the Silicon Energy Made in WA solar panels, this system is made for long term durability and production.
